Informacje ogólne
W 2012 r. Dyrekcja Generalna Komisji Europejskiej ds. Rolnictwa i Rozwoju Obszarów Wiejskich ustanowiła grupę ekspertów ds. rynków instrumentów pochodnych na towary rolne i rolnych giełd towarowych. Członkowie grupy ekspertów reprezentują kraje UE oraz europejskie stowarzyszenia różnych sektorów rolnych.
Grupa ekspertów to organ konsultacyjny, którego zadaniem jest doradzanie i zapewnianie fachowej wiedzy służbom Komisji w zakresie:
- funkcjonowania rynków instrumentów pochodnych na towary rolne i rolnych giełd towarowych,
- wdrażania istniejącego prawodawstwa i polityki UE,
- przygotowania wniosków ustawodawczych i inicjatyw w zakresie polityki w tej dziedzinie.
