Panorama
En 2012, la Dirección General de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural de la Comisión Europea creó un grupo de expertos sobre los derivados de las materias primas agrícolas y los mercados al contado. Los miembros del grupo de expertos representan a los países de la UE y a las asociaciones europeas de distintos sectores agrícolas.
El grupo de expertos es un órgano consultivo cuya tarea consiste en proporcionar asesoramiento y conocimientos especializados a los servicios de la Comisión en relación con:
- el funcionamiento de los derivados de las materias primas agrícolas y los mercados al contado;
- la aplicación de la legislación y las políticas de la UE en vigor;
- la elaboración de propuestas legislativas e iniciativas políticas en este ámbito.
