Sintesi
Nel 2012 la direzione generale per l'Agricoltura e lo sviluppo rurale della Commissione europea ha istituito un gruppo di esperti sui derivati delle materie prime agricole e i mercati a pronti. I membri del gruppo di esperti rappresentano i paesi dell'UE e le associazioni europee di vari settori agricoli.
Il gruppo di esperti è un organo consultivo il cui compito è fornire consulenza e know-how ai servizi della Commissione per quanto riguarda:
- il funzionamento dei derivati su merci agricole e dei mercati a pronti
- l'attuazione della legislazione e delle politiche dell'UE esistenti
- l'elaborazione di proposte legislative e di iniziative politiche in questo campo.
