Yleiskatsaus
Euroopan komission maatalouden ja maaseudun kehittämisen osasto perusti vuonna 2012 maatalousalan hyödykejohdannaisia ja spot-markkinoita käsittelevän asiantuntijaryhmän Asiantuntijaryhmän jäsenet edustavat EU-maita ja maatalouden eri alojen eurooppalaisia järjestöjä.
Asiantuntijaryhmä on neuvoa-antava elin, jonka tavoitteena on antaa komission yksiköille neuvoja ja asiantuntemusta seuraavista aiheista:
- maatalousalan hyödykejohdannaisten ja spot-markkinoiden toiminta
- voimassa olevan EU:n lainsäädännön ja politiikkojen täytäntöönpano
- alan lainsäädäntöehdotusten ja poliittisten aloitteiden valmistelu.
