Prezentare generală
În 2012, Direcția pentru agricultură și dezvoltare rurală a Comisiei Europene a instituit un grup de experți privind instrumentele financiare derivate pentru produse agricole de bază și piețele la vedere. Membrii acestui grup de experți reprezintă țările UE și asociațiile europene ale diferitelor sectoare agricole.
Grupul de experți este o entitate consultativă, revenindu-i sarcina de a oferi serviciilor Comisiei consultanță și expertiză cu privire la:
- funcționarea instrumentelor financiare derivate pentru produse agricole de bază și piețele la vedere
- punerea în aplicare a legislației și a politicilor UE existente
- elaborarea de propuneri legislative și de inițiative politice în acest domeniu.
