Burgers voorlichten over het EU-landbouwbeleid
De Europese Commissie cofinanciert projecten om de bevolking te informeren over het gemeenschappelijk landbouwbeleid (GLB). Het kan gaan om:
- televisie-uitzendingen over landbouw en innovatie
- boerderijbezoeken
- voorlichtingscampagnes
- audiovisuele en media-activiteiten
- apps voor smartphones en tablets
Elke persoon of rechtspersoon, zoals verenigingen of nationale autoriteiten, kan deelnemen aan de oproep tot het indienen van voorstellen, die eenmaal per jaar wordt gepubliceerd. De Europese regelgeving heeft twee doelstellingen voor alle voorlichtingsmaatregelen bepaald:
- de EU-steun voor landbouw en plattelandsontwikkeling via het GLB toelichten en daaraan meer bekendheid geven
- samenwerken met landbouwers en andere actoren in plattelandsgebieden, zodat zij hun achterban en het brede publiek verder kunnen voorlichten over het GLB
