Report
During the workshop, participants focused on two key topics: the current state and projections for agricultural production and trade in both the EU and candidate countries, as well as the main opportunities and threats identified for specific agricultural markets, including grains, sugar, meat, fruits and vegetables, and dairy.
Experts emphasised that while EU enlargement offers significant opportunities, it also poses challenges, such as increased competition and its potential impact on certain agricultural sectors. Addressing these concerns will be vital for ensuring a smooth and balanced integration process.
