The fourth edition of the conference took place on 6-7 December 2018 and was opened by Agriculture and Rural Development Commissioner, Phil Hogan.
Discussion on day one involved high level panellists and focused on digitisation and innovation in the farming sector but also on Africa.
The second day focused on the outlook for EU agricultural markets (crops, biofuels, meat and dairy), and included a presentation of the latest report produced with the support of the Joint Research Centre (JRC). The outlook and the changes to be expected were debated by a panel of experts.
Participants included EU institutions, governments and international organisations, those involved in the food supply chain, market experts, academics, think tanks and civil society.
We look forward to seeing you on 10-11 December for the 2019 EU Agricultural Outlook Conference.
