Quality and promotion

This group deals with all matters related to:

• geographical indications for agricultural products, wine and spirit drinks, as well as traditional specialties guaranteed and optional quality terms for agricultural products;
• the promotion of EU agricultural products in the context of Regulation (EU) 1144/2014 and the definition of strategic priorities and implementation of EU promotion policy measures.

Documents

The Commission publishes all relevant documents such as agendas, minutes, conclusions, partial conclusions or working documents on the activities carried out by the civil dialogue group on quality and promotion on the Expert Groups Register.

Exceptions to systematic publication will be made where disclosure of a document would undermine the protection of a public or private interest as defined in article 4 of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 regarding public access to European Parliament, Council and Commission documents.
