Report
The third edition of the annual conference was opened by Agriculture and Rural Development Commissioner, Phil Hogan.
Discussion on the first day focused on the modernisation and simplification of the common agricultural policy, while the following day the latest outlook report (2017-2030) was at the centre of an expert panel discussion. The report covers EU dairy, meat and crop markets over the next ten years and was produced with the support of the Joint Research Centre (JRC).
Participants came from EU institutions, governments and international organisations and participants involved in the food supply chain, market experts, academics, think tanks and civil society.
