EU agri-food business mission to Singapore

  • Visits

The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development will host a business mission for EU agri-food business sector representatives in the context of the Food and Hospitality Asia (FHA) and ProWine fairs in Singapore. The purpose of the mission, that will take place from 20-23 April 2026, is to facilitate business to business contacts for the European agri-food sector.

The European Commission invites, in particular, business representatives for products bearing a Geographical Indication and/or from the following sectors to apply:

  • Meat and egg products
  • Dairy
  • Fruit and vegetables
  • Olive oil
  • Processed agricultural products such as confectionery, chocolate, pasta, biscuits, etc
  • Beverages (including beer)
  • Wine and spirits

Programme

European agri-food companies will benefit from an excellent platform to discover the functioning of the Singaporean market and to make direct business contacts in Singapore and the broader Southeast Asian region. They will have the opportunity to promote Europe’s high-quality food standards, geographical indications as well as EU organic products. A senior representative from the European Commission will accompany the business delegation.

The visit to Singapore will focus on:

  • improving understanding of Singapore’s import market access conditions
  • identifying new opportunities for EU products,
  • participating in business-to-business activities in the context of the fair, and
  • attending retail and site visits.

Delegates will be able to attend the Food and Hospitality Asia (FHA) and ProWine fairs in Singapore, where the EU will be region of honour and present with a pavilion. Delegates will participate in specific business to business meetings (including with buyers, importers and retailers from the Southeast Asian region and the broader Indo-Pacific region) in the context of the fair.

How to participate

The selection of the delegation will be based on product category and geographical balance, size of the companies applying, with priority given to businesses, particularly SMEs, over associations. In this context the candidates’ capacity to conduct international business will also be taken into account.

Interested applicants are welcome to register. The deadline to apply is 1 February 2026.

Travel and accommodation

Participants are required to cover the cost of flights and accommodation themselves. All business events in the official programme, including local transport, will be organised and covered by the European Commission.
