Regulations on wine
Part of the common organisation of the markets, the wine sector is covered under its specific regulation which includes the application of EU quality schemes. Other legislations lay down the implementation of rules for the quality schemes, the required checks related, the labelling, and the presentation of certain wine sector products.

Regulations on spirit drinks

Regulations on mountain products
The optional quality term ‘mountain product was established to facilitate communication with the European market on the value-added of agricultural products made in difficult conditions such as mountainous areas.

Regulations on products of outermost regions
The measures measures aim at helping the EU's outermost regions, which face particular difficult natural conditions such as extreme remoteness. To ensure greater awareness of their agricultural products, a dedicated logo has been created as an optional quality term. The regulation lays down the rules of use of the logo.
