Az uniós minőségrendszerek jogi kerete
Az Európai Bizottság több rendeletet fogadott el arról, hogy miképpen kell használni az uniós minőségrendszereket a borágazatban. A borászati termékek a mezőgazdasági termékpiacok közös szervezésének létrehozásáról szóló rendelet hatálya alá tartoznak. Ezen belül egyedi rendeletek is vonatkoznak rájuk, köztük az is, amely előírja, hogyan kell alkalmazni az uniós minőségrendszereket az EU-ban forgalmazott borokra. Más jogszabályok a minőségrendszerek ellenőrzési és egyéb szabályait, valamint bizonyos borászati termékek címkézésének és kiszerelésének követelményeit rögzítik.
