Laatujärjestelmiä koskevat asetukset
Euroopan komissio on hyväksynyt useita asetuksia laatujärjestelmien täytäntöönpanosta viinialalla. Maataloustuotteiden yhteinen markkinajärjestely koskee myös viinialaa. Siihen sovelletaan erityisasetusta, joka kattaa myös EU:n laatujärjestelmien täytäntöönpanon. Muussa lainsäädännössä vahvistetaan säännöt, jotka koskevat laatujärjestelmien täytäntöönpanoa, asiaankuuluvia pakollisia tarkastuksia, merkintöjä ja tiettyjen viinialan tuotteiden esillepanoa.
