Regulations on quality schemes

The European Parliament and the Council have adopted a regulation on specific measures for agriculture in the outermost regions of the EU. The measures aim at helping these regions, which face particular difficult natural conditions such as extreme remoteness. To ensure greater awareness of their agricultural products, a dedicated logo has been created as an optional quality term. The regulation lays down the rules of use of the logo.
