Oversigt
I 2012 oprettede Kommissionens afdeling for landbrug og udvikling af landdistrikter en ekspertgruppe om landbrugsråvarederivater og spotmarkeder. Medlemmerne af ekspertgruppen repræsenterer EU-landene og europæiske sammenslutninger af forskellige landbrugssektorer.
Ekspertgruppen er en rådgivende enhed, der har til opgave at yde rådgivning og ekspertbistand til Kommissionens tjenestegrene vedrørende:
- landbrugsråvarederivaters og -spotmarkeders funktion
- gennemførelse af eksisterende EU-lovgivning og -politikker
- udarbejdelse af lovgivningsforslag og politiske initiativer på området
