Four thematic workshops on the different aspects of plant proteins were organised with European experts, to feed into the final report on the development of plant proteins in the European Union. Each workshop brought together approximately 30 experts and stakeholders.
This workshop discussed the potential of different market segments, both in feed and food. An additional goal was to validate the results of the market study. Topics addressed were:
- trends that will influence future market demand
- challenges and opportunities for EU plant proteins for feed and food.
